Highway 27 Fishing Village
The Highway 27 Fishing Village is located about 40 miles west of Hot Springs in the Ouachita National Forest. The grounds have a convenience store, air-conditioned lake front cabin units, hiking trails, bait and tackle shop, boat dock with a fueling station and a campground with electricity and water.
If you want to try out some other things besides fishing and boating, the Womble Trail stretches 37 miles from Northfork Lake and the Ouachita National Recreational Trail, traveling along Lake Ouachita’s shores for about a mile just outside the resort. Hikers and mountain bikers can reach sites offering breathtaking views along the trail. Highway 27 Fishing Village offers bike shuttles to those wanting to partake of the trail’s offerings.

Because of its location, there are ample swimming opportunities as well at the Sandy Beach Swimming Area. The Fishing Village offers guests a place to stay and-play while in the area. Family owned and operated, visitors are welcomed to the down home atmosphere. The village is located eight miles north of Mount Ida. As an added convenience, fishing licenses are available for purchase on site.
Little Fir and Big Fir campgrounds are a short distance away.
