Lake Ouachita State Park Cabins and Campsites
Staying overnight at Lake Ouachita State Park is a memorable experience. The park is located right on Lake Ouachita and is surrounded by the beautiful woodlands of Ouachita National Forest. The outdoor area has a deck with Adirondack chairs and a barbecue grill. Three-bedroom cabins can sleep up to ten people, and they are cooled and heated for year around comfort. There are also four multi-level cabins in the park with two or three bedrooms.

Campsites
There are more than 100 campsites sprinkled around the wooded lakeshore at Lake Ouachita State Park. Bathhouses with hot showers are convenient to all campsites. The majority of the campsites feature dual voltage electrical hookups and water hookups designed to be freeze proof. Many offer sewer hookups. 40 campsites provide a barbecue grill and a table, along with sewer hookups. For campers who seek off-season camping when campgrounds are less crowded, several sites remain open all year long.

Lake Ouachita State Park Amenities
Lake Ouachita is popular for fishing for bream, largemouth bass, crappie, stripers and catfish. Guests can rent boats and canoes at the marina, and 70 boat slips are available. Vacationers at the park can enjoy waterskiing, snorkeling, scuba diving and sailing. Take a kayak and explore on your own, or take a guided kayak tour. There are hiking trails for nature lovers, birdwatchers and photographers.
